CAC burstThe ELARC Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) is made up of adult individuals who are served directly by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center. Their role is to give input to the Board of Directors about matters that are important to the individuals that the Regional Center serves. The members of the CAC are committed to expanding their membership, spreading the word about self advocacy, and playing a leadership role in the agency and in the state.  

The CAC meetings focus on both business and information.  The first half of the meeting is dedicated to discussion and updates from the ELARC Executive Director. The second half of the meeting focuses on a guest speaker presenting on a topic of importance to CAC members. Click here to view our brochure.

CAC meetings are videoconferenced between the Alhambra office Boardroom located at 1000 S. Fremont in Alhambra, 91803 and the Whittier office conference room located at 13215 Penn St #410 in Whittier, 90602.

CAC Meetings are held in English only. If you wish to participate in a language other than English, please RSVP to Elisa Salazar at (626) 299-4772 two weeks prior to the meeting to allow sufficient time for ELARC to make every attempt to meet your request.

The Consumer Advisory Committee for 2018!

Purchase of Service (POS) Data Review-Public Meeting

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is required to compile data relating to purchase of service (POS) authorization, utilization, and expenditure by each regional center with respect to consumer age, race or ethnicity, primary language, and disability detail. The data includes residence type as well as number and percent of consumers who are eligible for regional center services.

Public Meetings to Review Data

The data report will be reviewed and discussed at Public Meetings. We will hold a meeting on March 27, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Boardroom at ELARC's main office in Alhambra. For complete details, please view flyer here.
