New Directives from DDS and CCL - COVID19
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) issued two new directives on March 18, 2020:
- DEPARTMENT DIRECTIVE ON REQUIREMENTS WAIVED DUE TO COVID-19 AND ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE: covers requirements under the Lanterman Act and other state law that are waived due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The five page directive also contains other guidance to provide options or flexibility to help people with developmental disabilities, their families who receive services; people who provide those services; and also people in regional centers who help coordinate eligibility and services while under the State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. - GUIDANCE FOR REGIONAL CENTER MONITORING STAFF: relates to regional center staff who conducted site monitoring visits under the COVID-19 pandemic. View the directive here.
