Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center continues to address the needs of our community and strive towards effective service planning through the ongoing development and implementation of the Performance Contract. The Performance Contract is the result of an early 1990s amendment to the Lanterman Act through Senate Bill 1383. This bill was passed with the intent to have the law reflect consumer/family interests in a clearer manner. The Performance Contract was introduced as a way for Regional Centers to come to an agreement with their local communities about future planning. It is intended to provide meaningful results for the individuals served by ELARC.

ELARC will be holding two public meetings to provide a budget update and to review the Performance Contract. Community input on the draft Performance Contract is requested and will be accepted.  View the Draft Performance Contract.

The public meetings will be held from 10 am to 11:30 am in the Boardroom located at the ELARC main office and will held from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Palm Park in Whittier.  This meeting will be held in English.  If you wish to have interpretation in languages other than English please contact Elisa Salazar at (626) 299- 4772 to request interpretation.  In order to best accommodate your language request, please contact Ms. Salazar with your request at least 3 days in advance of the meeting and we will make every attempt to secure interpretation.
