Residential Services Orientation:
New ELARC residential services providers and administrators are required to attend a residential services orientation (RSO).The RSO is presented twice a year, on three consecutive Mondays in the months of June and December.To register or this training or to be added to the mailing list, please contact Pearl Ramirez at 626/299-4793.Three weeks prior to this training a registration form will be mailed to your address.Please note that dates are subject to change.Please contact Pearl Ramirez to confirm.

Requests for Proposals (RFPs):
ELARC does not have any RFPs available at this time. Service providers are urged to visit this web-site regularly to learn about new Request for Proposals and available start-up funds.

Special Service Provider Forums:
The community services unit is pleased to host regular forums specifically planned to address unique service provider issues. The forums are an opportunity for service providers to meet with regional center community services and consumer services staff in our on-going effort to jointly discuss the provision of services to ELARC consumers and families. Please visit our web-site regularly regarding up-coming planned forums.

Vendor Advisory Committee:
The Vendor Advisory Committee (VAC) meets every 4th Thursday of the month except in August and December to discuss issues important to our vendor community. All vendors are welcome to attend. Meetings are conducted in EALRC boardroom. Please contact ELARC Community Services Unit to confirm dates and time.

Vendor Leadership Forum:
The Vendor Leadership Forum(VLF) is a sub-committee of the Vendor Advisory Committee. The VLF has been instrumental in the coordination of the Michael Smull training series on “Person-Centered Thinking”. The VLF continues to work jointly with ELARC’s Leadership Task Force in arranging key training dates for 2007.

 

Vendors interested in participating in the VLF or learning more about the Michael Smull Training series on “Person-Centered Thinking” should attend the VAC meetings to obtain more information regarding VLF meeting dates and times.

Person Center Thinking

Vendors! Parents! Consumers! Join Us for Person Centered Thinking Training: ELARC, in partnership with the Vendor Leadership Forum, is launching an ongoing Introduction to Person Centered Thinking training program. This four-part session will be hosted on a monthly basis, every Wednesday morning. There is a fee for vendors and community members (consumers and families may have fee waived upon request) Registration is required as space is limited.
