The Transition summit is a vision to be a starting point from where the sharing of information and exchange of ideas would lead to creative and innovative projects, best practices models, and new thinking about how to serve youth more effectively as they determine the future they want for themselves.

The 2006 summit was very well received and led to produce a much more impacting and powerful 2007 Transition Summit! ELARC’S Second Annual Transition Summit was an overwhelming success and we are very proud and pleased with how well it was received.

For 2008, we are going to work very hard at developing projects that will help us accomplish this goal. We will focus on three basic areas: Mini Seminars, Training for Staff and Growing Resources. Look for details in the months ahead! Then in 2009, we will look at hosting ELARC’s Third Annual Transition Summit.
