The Mission of ELARC is to create opportunities for consumers to have integrated life experiences and to promote community-oriented lifestyles. To this end, ELARC encourages consumers to engage in social and recreational activities within their local communities. Examples of these activities include sports, hobbies, leisure, education, clubs, fitness, and the arts. The programs providing such activities are designed to teach specific skills, but also enhance socialization skills, develop friendships and provide good, clean, fun! Shane's Club is a free club that meets monthly for a Play Date at one of Shane's Inspiration's Universally Accessible Playgrounds. Children will have a great time meeting new kids and playing on the playground. |
