Tools used to assist persons with disabilities improve quality of life and offer provision of information, training, and technical support are considered Assistive Technology (AT). AT fosters greater independence for persons with disabilities by enabling them to perform tasks that they were formerly unable to accomplish or had great difficulty accomplishing. There are many types of AT tools and resources. For more information please contact your service coordinator.

Person Center Thinking

Vendors! Parents! Consumers! Join Us for Person Centered Thinking Training: ELARC, in partnership with the Vendor Leadership Forum, is launching an ongoing Introduction to Person Centered Thinking training program. This four-part session will be hosted on a monthly basis, every Wednesday morning. There is a fee for vendors and community members (consumers and families may have fee waived upon request) Registration is required as space is limited.
