Jesse Padilla  

My name is Jesse Padilla and I am the Consumer Advocate for the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center (ELARC). As you may know, ELARC offers a variety of services and informational trainings for consumers. In my role as Consumer Advocate, I work with the CAC Internal Team and consumers to help identify and address the concerns and needs of consumers. 

As the Consumer Advocate, I also attend the Access Services Community Advisory Committee, County Commission, and City Commission Meetings. My role at these meetings is to represent the agency and to report back to the agency and CAC about the information discussed at the meetings, upcoming trainings, events, and any important information concerning consumers. In addition, I attend the Vendor Advisory Committee Meetings. I look forward to being a part of these working groups so that we can better serve consumers and make the community more accessible for persons with disabilities.

The Consumer Advisory Committee is a way for the voices of consumers to be heard, and to help the Regional Center and service providers. We welcome and encourage you to become an active member of the CAC. We want to hear what you have to say. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
