Client Advisory Committee
All our meetings are being held virtually. Join these meetings from wherever you choose - all you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
The Consumer Advocates Congress (CAC) is made up of adult individuals who are served directly by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center. The role of the CAC is to provide input to the Board of Directors on all matters that are important to the individuals served. We also seek to empower members through discussions, presentations and education on the power of Self Advocacy. The CAC is committed to growing its membership and making an impact in the community.
The CAC meetings have social community-based time where individuals can meet each other and discuss problems or issues and brainstorm to find solutions. The CAC will also provide important updates on what has happened between meetings and answer questions that individuals have. The CAC also has an information and education time where a guest speaker presents on a specific topic that was chosen by the members of the CAC.
