About Us

The Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center (ELARC) is a private, non-profit organization under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Headquartered in Alhambra, ELARC is one of 21 Regional Centers in the state, coordinating and providing community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

ELARC is happy to serve and collaborate with our community by providing information about Regional Center services and resources at schools, parent groups, conferences, booths, resource fairs, webinars, and more. If you are interested in having an ELARC representative at an event, please contact us at .

We do ask that you place your request with ELARC at least one month in advance of your event. Ability of ELARC staff to respond to inquiries is dependent upon staffing and workload demands at the time of the inquiry - please allow up to 72 hours for a response. Organizations/individuals may be directed to neighboring regional centers and/or other agencies for assistance.

Performance Contract

Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center continues to address the needs of our community and strive towards effective service planning through the ongoing development and implementation of the Performance Contract.

Purchase of Service Data

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is required to compile data relating to purchase of service (POS) authorization, utilization, and expenditure by each regional center with respect to consumer age, race or ethnicity, primary language, and disability detail.
