Family Resource Center

The Eastern Los Angeles Family Resource Center (FRC) has permanently closed its Northeast LA office. We continue to provide services at our Alhambra site. Call the FRC at (626) 300-9171 for more information about available services and hours of operation.

The Eastern Los Angeles Family Resource Center (ELAFRC) is a program of Heluna Health. They are the Early Start and Family Empowerment Center for the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center service area. Parents/professionals who have a child or loved one who have also navigated the system offer emotional support, information, community navigation and training to families and individuals with or at risk of developmental and intellectual disabilities of all ages. They support families to understand and navigate the regional center, school district, and generic service system. They also support professionals to engage and understand families in the developmental disabilities system by providing opportunities for family/professional collaboration and learning opportunities.

Family Voices

Founded in 1997, Family Voices of California (FVCA) is a statewide collaborative of locally-based parent-run centers working to ensure quality health care for children and youth with special health care needs. Eastern Los Angeles FRC is the local southern California member agency, providing resources, referrals and emotional support. View the Family Voices of California website for more information.
