Boyle Heights Fire: State of Emergency Absence Billing

SERVICE PROVIDERS! On June 20, 2026, Governor Gavin Newsom declared a State of Emergency in Los Angeles County as a result of the Palos Warehouse Fire in Boyle Heights, which may have affected vendor services for individuals served in this area. As a result of the State of Emergency, the Department of Developmental Services (Department) is authorizing, pursuant to Title 17 California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 54326(a)(11), regional centers to pay vendors for absences that are the direct result of the State of Emergency.
