ELARC Statement of Encryption

ELARC prioritizes the privacy and security of you and your loved ones’ private information. For this reason, ELARC utilizes encryption technology when sending information to families, clients and vendors over email. ELARC utilizes Barracuda encryption software, which means you will have to create a username and password to access the information. We understand that this is not always convenient and may feel like the regional center is imposing a barrier against access to your information. However, ELARC adds this layer of protection for the following reasons:

  • Confidentiality
  • HIPAA Regulations
  • Cyber Security
