High Importance: Critical Weather Event Ahead

There is a critical weather pattern beginning tomorrow and lasting through Thursday morning. 

  1. Critical Fire weather conditions are possible on Wednesday through Thursday morning, impacting portions of Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties, as well as Sundowner wind prone areas of Southern Santa Barbara County.
  2. Wind gusts of 35 to 55 mph
  3. Monsoon thunderstorms today, continuing throughout the week, with possible dry lightning fire starts
  4. Extreme Heat warnings and Heat advisories are expected for much of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties Tuesday through Thursday
