Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center and the Enhanced Services and Community Engagement unit would like to invite you to our upcoming workshop on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for Transition-Aged Youth and Adults, in collaboration with the TASK.
Many students don't have access to Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) in childhood. Some receive devices in school but outgrow them or find them inadequate. Lack of training and frustration can also lead to device abandonment. Others need new AAC systems after leaving school. This webinar will cover AAC use, resources, and ideas for teenagers and adults.
This virtual workshop will be hosted via Zoom and is designed to empower individuals, families, and community members with essential knowledge on communication.
