Fostering Independence for your Family Member

Children's Hospital of LA (CHLA) in partnership with USC and the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is providing a workshop designed for parents and caregivers of youth and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) who want to support their family member in building independence. 

Participants will learn practical ways to foster independence at home and in the community, while recognizing that independence looks different for every individual.
